This is a small selection of my work from over the past 34 years.

Each example has been the product of close collaboration with the director and/or client. Some have had considerable budgets while others have relied on very limited resources.

But whatever the budget, I always try to use the problems encountered as a creative springboard from which to produce theatre which is conceptually consistent and closely integrated with the final production.

My designs aim to place each production in a unique context which is formed using a language of surprise that is rooted in reality.
